Yes, I Like Haikus (Part 2)

While researching some topics to put on my blog tonight I came across some haikus I wrote in 1985 and 1998. If you saw my haiku entry in February 2008 you saw my romantic haikus. The ones I will post tonight are going to be non-romantic haikus. Enjoy!

Trying to survive
I have to eat my own arm
Steak sauce is needed (June 12, 1998)

One lonesome beaver
Who builds a dam for shelter
Frozen and tired (Nov. 18, 1985)

Dog crap on the lawn
Attacked by flies in squadrons
Dissolved in seconds (Nov. 18, 1985)

Trees grow on the land
Utilizing soil now
Nature is at war (Nov. 18, 1985)

Yellow moon in sky
Darkened sun on horizon
Hurricane is near (Nov. 18, 1985)

Rock and tundra turned
Natural event takes place
Everything is dead (Nov. 18, 1985)

I forgot I only emailed you about these! My favorite?--the first one. I am so going to add steak sauce to my year's supply. Never know when you might have to eat your own arm ;).

These haikus are fun to read, how about a Chiasmus, I think you'd be good at that.
