I Still Have Nightmares Rocks Oakland, CA!
On Saturday, October 24, 2009, I Still Have Nightmares played its 18th show at NekroFest in Oakland, CA. I drove up with the guitarist on Saturday and we returned today at 5:15 pm. The entire trip was 790.5 miles. I drove every mile. We played second out of six bands. The other bands were: Diabolic Disciple, Demonika & The Darklings, Saints of Ruin, Gitane Demone and Kommunity FK. We played the following songs (in order): Straight Jacket (new), HaHaHa (new), Masquerade, The Awakening, The Summoning, You Don't Know, Virus and 3248 (new).Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Hyde's 4th Birthday Halloween Party
My nephew Hyde Kimball McFerson was born on October 7, 2005. My brother and sister-in-law celebrated his 4th birthday tonight by having a Halloween Birthday Party. It was a blast! Angels Sweep The Red Sox!
The Angels pulled off the unthinkable - they swept the Boston Red Sox in the ALDS! I must admit that going into the ALDS I was very nervous because the Red Sox OWN the Angels in the playoffs. Well, the Boston Monkey is off the backs of the Angels and it feels good! The Angels will face the Yankees in the ALCS starting this week. I can't wait! LET'S GO ANGELS!Friday, October 9, 2009
Angels Hammer Red Sox 4-1 In Game 2!
The Angels beat the Red Sox 4-1 in Game 2 of the ALDS tonight. It looks like the days of the Angels being intimidated by the Red Sox are over. 25 Years Of Playing Bass Guitar!
On this day 25 years ago I started playing bass guitar. It was October 7, 1984. I was 16. The total price tag for the bass was $200. I paid $100 and my dad paid $100. I was a little nervous because I had never owned a musical instrument before and to be honest I'm not sure why I started with bass. I think I wanted to start on bass because I loved the thick sound I heard on most records I owned at the time...and my hands were big so I would have no problem dealing with a thick neck and strings. After 25 years I can honestly say I am still in love with bass guitar. I'm still learning...and there are so many more things I want to learn. My other name for bass guitar is "Four String Righteousness." Happy 4th Birthday Hyde!

2009 Baseball Playoffs Start Tomorrow!
This is the time of year when I get very excited. My excitement is due to the fact that baseball playoffs start! I love baseball. I especially love the intensity of baseball playoffs. See this photo? I hope there is baseball in Heaven! Here are the matchups for the National League: Colorado Rockies vs. Philadephia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals.
