My name is Jon McFerson and I'm still here. I have been slacking off on my blog a bit lately due to some other responsibilities in my life. I'm sorry about not posting my usual cool posts lately (LOL). Life can be very busy and it has been for me lately. For those of you who aren't aware, my job is very intense. It's a meat grinder. Some days I come home from work and I'm just done mentally. Crazy people can hurt your brain. It has been draining me lately because I can't catch up. Also, some people think that I have a ton of free time because I am single and not married. Wow. To be honest with you I have never been busier in my life. Everyone is in a different situation and everyone is busy. My life is full of church meetings / responsibilities, work stuff, DJ jobs, band practices (I play in two), studying / research for my personal interests...and none of this factors in all of the last minute help I give people when they call me for assistance to move something, explain something, proof read something, etc. Everyone is busy. Everyone. Because one person is married or has a kid doesn't mean a person not in that situation is sitting around looking for something to do. I have made a promise to myself recently to really getting moving again with this blog thing. There are so many things to share!

I am a single mother of three kids...and I have a ton of free time on my hands. Don't let them fool you, Jon. I'm currently looking for things to occupy me.
I understand what you mean exactly. I, too, have never been busier in my life. I've been working everage 13 hrs a day making food... 2 busy 2 get married haha...
Hey Disco Pimp,
I've caught up on everything I've missed :). Good to hear the wise words of Jon McFerson coming through again. I've really missed reading blogs, but I too am crazy busy and don't see it letting up till semester is over in December.
You really are one of the busiest single people I know. How are you ever going to get caught if you don't slow down a bit ;) ?
OK...so if you're pushing Phoenix, I have to tell you that you MUST go out and buy the latest Wilco cd (self-titled). I know you liked the "You and I" song I posted on Facebook a while back (duet with Feist), but the whole album is really, really good. Very poetic lyrics with superbly mixed sound. Their album "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" is one of the best live recorded albums EVER.
There's my two bits.
Glad you're back to blogging and enjoying your life only the way you can!
